Yori is a cycle awareness app built for men — partners, fathers, brothers. It helps you understand what the women in your life may be experiencing throughout their cycle, so you can show up with the right kind of support at the right time.
It's not a prediction tool and it's not about gaining any kind of advantage. It's about education, empathy, and genuine care.
Her participation is never required. You can use Yori entirely on your own, without her knowing.
That said, most people find that telling her leads to a genuinely good conversation. Yori works better with openness — and most partners react better than you might expect when they find out.
Download Yori from Google Play, complete the short setup (about 2 minutes), and log her most recent period start date. Yori will immediately calculate which phase she's in and begin showing you relevant guidance.
You don't need to know her exact cycle length — Yori will estimate it as you log more periods over time.
Make your best guess — even an approximate date is enough to get started. Yori will refine its predictions as you log more period start dates over time. You can also update or correct a logged date at any time from the calendar view.
From the Home tab, tap the period log button. You can log the start date (and optionally the end date). Start is the only required field — end date helps Yori show the right number of days of period guidance.
You can also log from the Calendar tab by tapping any past date.
Tap the Notes tab. You can write a free text note, or use the quick-tap mood options for faster logging. Notes are tagged to the current phase automatically.
Logging regularly — even brief observations — is what enables Yori's AI to build a picture of her specific patterns over time.
Yes. Yori supports multiple profiles — tap the profile selector at the top of the Home screen to add a new profile or switch between existing ones. Each profile has its own cycle awareness, notes, and AI insights completely separately.
The most reliable fix is to log more period start dates. Yori calculates phases based on her cycle length — the more data you provide, the more accurate it becomes.
If a date is wrong, you can delete and re-log it from the Calendar tab. If her cycle is irregular, Yori accounts for this — accuracy improves after 3–4 logged cycles.
Each day, Yori generates a personalised insight using her current phase, any logged observations and notes you've added, and established cycle science. The insight is designed to be relevant to today specifically — not generic phase information.
As you log more over time, the insights become more personal because Yori has more of her specific pattern to draw on.
Insights are generated once per day and cached until midnight. If you're seeing the same insight, it means today's hasn't been generated yet — pull down to refresh, or wait until the insight updates automatically.
Insights also update when you log a new period, which changes the phase calculation.
No — and Yori doesn't claim to be. The insights are grounded in science and in what you've logged, but they are possibilities, not certainties. She is still the expert on how she actually feels.
The thumbs up/down buttons help Yori improve future insights for this profile. Use them if an insight lands well — or doesn't.
All data is stored locally on your device only, encrypted with AES-256. There is no cloud sync, no server, and no backup to any external service. Yori does not upload any personal data or cycle information.
All data is permanently deleted when you uninstall Yori. There is no recovery option because there is no server holding a copy. If you want to keep your data, use the Export function in Settings before uninstalling.
Yori collects anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (things like "the AI insight feature was used today") to help us understand how the app is being used. This data contains no personal information, no cycle data, and no identifying details. It cannot be linked to any individual.

PMOS stands for Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome — the updated name adopted by global medical consensus in 2026, replacing the older term PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome). The name change reflects a more accurate understanding of the condition.
Yori uses PMOS as the primary term with "(formerly PCOS)" shown alongside it, so you'll recognise it whichever name you're familiar with.
Yes. PMDD is one of Yori's six supported conditions and has dedicated guidance throughout the app. When PMDD is selected, the AI insights and phase guidance are adjusted to reflect the more significant luteal phase symptoms that PMDD involves.
Yori is careful never to replace professional support for PMDD — it's a tool to help you understand and show up better, not a clinical tool.
Not yet. Yori is currently Android-only. iOS is on the roadmap — sign up to the email list below if you'd like to be notified when it's available.
