1. Who we are

Yori is developed and published by Yori Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company Number 17105944). References to "we", "us" or "Yori" in these terms refer to Yori Ltd.

2. What Yori is — and what it is not

Yori is an educational and wellness application designed to help men understand the menstrual cycle of someone in their life. It provides science-based information about cycle phases, AI-generated daily insights, and condition-specific guidance.

Yori is not a medical device, a diagnostic tool, or a substitute for professional medical or psychological advice. Specifically:

• Yori does not diagnose any condition
• AI-generated insights are informational only and may be inaccurate or inapplicable to any individual's situation
• Cycle predictions are estimates based on logged data and are not guaranteed to be accurate
• Yori must never be used as a method of contraception
• Nothing in Yori constitutes medical, psychological, or clinical advice

If you or someone you care about is experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, contact a healthcare professional or emergency services immediately.

3. Acceptable use

You may use Yori only for its intended purpose: to build understanding and awareness of the menstrual cycle of someone in your life. You agree not to use Yori:

• To pressure, manipulate, or coerce any person
• In any way that involves sharing another person's cycle information without their knowledge in a context where doing so would harm them
• To make clinical or medical decisions for yourself or another person
• In any way that violates applicable law

Yori includes an ethics and consent section within the app. You are required to acknowledge its contents during onboarding. If you find yourself using the app in a way inconsistent with these principles, please stop.

4. Consent and privacy of third parties

Yori may be used without the knowledge of the person whose cycle you are logging. We do not require her consent or participation. However, we strongly encourage openness where possible. Yori is designed to build understanding and connection — not to enable surveillance or control.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Yori respects the privacy, dignity, and wellbeing of any third party whose information you enter into the app.

5. Premium subscriptions and in-app purchases

Yori offers optional premium features accessible through in-app purchase via Google Play, including monthly subscription, annual subscription, and lifetime access. All purchases are subject to Google Play's terms of service.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Google Play account settings.

"Lifetime" access means access for the lifetime of the Yori application. In the event that Yori is permanently discontinued, lifetime purchasers will be given reasonable notice. We do not offer pro-rata refunds in this event, but we will endeavour to give adequate advance notice to allow users to export their data.

Refunds are subject to Google Play's refund policy. Contact yoriapp@pm.me if you believe you are entitled to a refund and have been unable to obtain one through Google Play.

6. Intellectual property

All content within the Yori app — including text, design, AI prompt architecture, condition guidance, and software — is the intellectual property of Yori Ltd or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of Yori without our express written permission.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Yori is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yori Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or harm arising from reliance on AI-generated insights.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 that are not affected by these terms.

9. Changes to the app and terms

We may update Yori and these terms from time to time. Significant changes to these terms will be communicated via the app or email if provided. Your continued use of Yori after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

We reserve the right to discontinue Yori with reasonable notice. In the event of discontinuation, we will provide at least 90 days' notice where possible.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
